Welcome
Welcome to allantmichaels.digitalnovelists.com, the home of the web novels of Allan T Michaels.
Here, you will find links to my ongoing project.
The sequel to my novel, An Empire of Law, this book takes up the story of the Empire as it begins to come apart at the seams. Epic battles and dirty politics criss-cross the Empire as Kilthanis D'Endray sees the fruits of the seeds he sowed in An Empire of Law. Updates Wednesdays.

At the intersection of Law and Power, an attack on the Emperor leads to the oppression of an unpopular minority. Follow Kilthanis D'Endray and others as they attempt to hold the Empire together and eventually take the first steps to tear it apart. Complete.

See what people are saying about AEOL:
A selection on the e-Fiction Book Club! Here's what members had to say:
"Some of [the chapters] were more interesting than others, but there were quite a few times that I simply HAD to read the next one." - J.C.
"I think the real question should be, what isn’t there to like about this story." - Karen
"If I could describe it, I’d say it’s a cross between a Lord of the Rings type fantasy epic and a political drama like Dune...It’s a huge, country-spanning, political epic full of tragic characters all hurtling inexorably towards their fate." - Merilee Faber

Additionally, I have two complete novels of my urban fantasy, Superstition.
Dashiell Aldridge is a detective who specializes in investigating the occult. Follow him, and his frequent partner, DC homicide detective Regina Robbins as they try and solve a variety of cases set in a modern day urban fantasy setting. Two novels complete. Currently on hiatus.
This is a fun little project I started some time ago. It's based on Peter Anspach's "100 Things I'd Do If I Ever Became an Evil Overlord." It updates infrequently. I do this for fun and to keep the juices flowing.
