Wow - with the end of the semester, a milestone passed me by. Back on May 8, I celebrated the one year anniversary of An Empire of Law. Back on May 8, 2008, I posted the Foreward on my old blogspot address. Now, a little over a year later, I'm still working (just posted chapter 58).

I had expected to do a little better when I started posting (I'm averaging the current pace of 1 chapter a week - or a little better). So I want to thank those of you who have remained faithful. I know there were long gaps, and I sincerely appreciate the loyalty.

It's been a great year, and I'm looking forward to another one. There's still a long way to go before I end Book 1 of AEOL. And then there will be at least a Book 2.

And while I've put Apocalypse Times on hold, and Superstition on indefinite hiatus, I've got other ideas boiling around in my brain. But for now, I'll keep the focus on AEOL. I owe it to myself and to you, the readers, to see it through.
