My prolonged absence
Dear Readers,
I wanted to write this note because I feel I owe you an explanation for the sudden and prolonged absence of chapters.
First, I wish to make it clear that I have no intention of ending things as they are. I am not done telling the stories in AEOL or in GPU. I also do have another Dash and Regina story left in me.
But things have been tough for me in my personal life. I have had to face some challenges in the last month that are causing me to make some difficult decisions. As a result, the story has taken a backseat.
Due to these challenges, I haven't been in the mental headspace to write the stories that need to be written. If I forced them, I fear the quality would suffer or the mood would be off.
I want to thank you for your loyalty and give you my promise that I will continue to write. It just might be a little while longer before you see chapters, or if you do, they will continue to be sporadic until my life settles down and I know what my next steps are.
If you're reading this, I want to thank you for your loyalty. I know I've tried it these last few months. I miss the days when I was publishing 5 times a week. I am embarrassed I can't seem to keep up with 1 or 2. But I do appreciate all the time you've put into my stories. It's always nice to know I'm not the only one reading them.
I will attempt to get back into the swing of things. I may also just post some random writings, to keep in practice and to give you something. Writing is a muscle and it needs to be exercised to stay in shape.
I hope that things pan out here soon. I'm as anxious as you are to see what happens next.
Thanks for reading,
Allan T Michaels

hey Allan
Weird synchronicity on this -- I've been offline for most of the past two months myself, dealing with a family crisis. I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing. Hope it's all back on track. :)
Doing well
Thanks for checking in Gavin! I have been meaning to get back to things.
Honestly, I've found my reading has slacked off in direct proportion to my writing. Haven't visited ToMU in at least a month.
I WILL have a chapter up before Sunday. This is my promise to you and my other readers.
